What is Wall Street 30?

WS30 is derived from Dow Jones Industrial Average. Simply called Dow, it is one of the major stock indices in United States. Dow Jones Industrial Average is traded on both, the New York Stock Exchange and the NASDAQ. It is an index that shows how 30 large publicly owned companies based in the United States have traded during a standard trading session in the stock market. It is one of the most closely watched U.S. benchmark index.

Originally, the Dow was compiled to gauge the performance of the industrial sector within the American economy. However, the industrial portion of the name is largely historical now, as many of the modern 30 components have little or nothing to do with traditional heavy industry.

Trading hours for Dow Jones Industrial Average on New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ are 09:30 am to 04:00 pm (EST) Monday to Friday. However, WS30 can be traded on our platform on the following extended hours:
11:05 pm to 11:00 pm (Central European Summer Time) Sunday to Friday.
09:05 pm to 09:00 pm (Greenwich Mean Time) Sunday to Friday.
